Using the TikTok trending for high school reunions as inspiration, which showed the yearbook photo of a person, and then a video of the same person at the reunion 10 or 15 years later using this sound, I wanted to create a “yearbook” or look-back at how the 4 stars of Gold Rush on Discovery have grown over the years. I had proven success with a similar format, but a slightly different trend, from the previous season premiere with a Parker focused look-back, so wanted to capitalize on that nostalgia and include all of the miners in this video.
